RSSI is measured over entire bandwidth of occupied RBs (Resource Blocks).RSRQ is the Reference Signal Received Quality.RSRP is the Reference Signal Received Power and is measured in a single RE of the LTE REsource Block. Hence, RSRP is also called as average received power of a single reference signal RE (Resource Element). For sake of simplicity, lets assume the power of reference symbols (shown by red square) and power of other symbols carrying other data channels (shown by blue square) is same i.e. The formulas used in within the calculator is below, where: Lets try to calculate RSRP, RSSI and RSRQ for one very simple case of one resource block with 12 sub carriers and 0.5 ms in time domain. The calculation is performed based on RSSI and channel Bandwidth considered. RSRP RSRP refers to Reference-Signal-Receive-Power and measures the power of the reference signal received at the antenna of the device. The absolute accuracy of RSRP is defined as the RSRP measured from a cell on the same frequency as that of the serving cell. My serving cell RSRP is postive number like RSRP82. RSRP, RSRQ and SINR are three important parameters used to measure the quality of a cellular network signal in LTE (Long-Term Evolution) technology. In this page we present a simple LTE RSRP & RSRQ calculator. So, right now i am getting printed RSRQ and RSRP of serving cell in my screen.
